If you are interested in the war period, Moscow can offer you big Memorial Complex on Poklonnaya Hill with the Museum of Great Patriotic War. Another big military spot is the Central Museum of Armed Forces. The museum has huge collection of artifacts: Nazy's trophies;  marshall's military awards; wreckage of Harry Power's airplane.  There is a big exposition of military technique: tanks, helicopters, rocket launchers on the open space display of the museum.
