Tsaritsyno is a fashionable countryside area 20 minutes away from Moscow downtown. In 1775-1796 a residence for Catherine the Great was designed here; however the construction was never completed and historical ruin reached our days. The restoration of the Palace and picturesque park was finished in 2007 making Tsaritsyno the largest museum-reserve of Moscow, which occupies over 700 hectares.
