The Armoury Chamber

Opening days: open daily, except Thursday, from 10:00 to 17:00. The Armoury Chamber has seances at 10:00, 12:00 , 14:30, 16:30.
The Musuem's collection includes the precious articles made in the Kremlin workshops or received as gifts from foreign embassies and kept for centuries in the royal treasury and patriach's vestry. The museum has exhibits of old state regalia, the ceremonial dress and coronation robes of the Russian czars, the ecclesiastical vestments of the Russian Orthodox Church hierarchs, a large collection of gold and silver articles made by Russian craftsmen, the work of West European silversmith, old weapons, and the collection of carriages and ceremonial horse gears. Their supreme artistry and special historical value have brought the museum world renown.
