About Kolomenskoe Estate:
Kolomenskoye estate is located on the bank of the Moscow River, 10 km southeast of the Kremlin and surrounded by over 350 hectares of ancient woodland.
Kolomenskoye was first mentioned in chronicles of Prince Ivan Kalita in 1339. Since the 14th century Kolomenskoye had been the summer residence of Great Moscow Princes, and after - Russian tsars.
Kolomenskoye is represented by many vintage wooden constructions, such as beautiful churches and tent-roofed constructions.
On the territory of the park you will find a unique historical- architectural ensemble. On a walking tour you can see such famous churches as the Kazan Church built in the 1660`s, the Ascension Church built in 1532, the bell-tower church of St. George, the Church of Beheading of St. John the Forerunner, surrounded by a small cemetery with graves dating back to the 14th -19th centuries.
Nowadays Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve is one of the most picturesque and popular places in Moscow.

Moscow Metro Tour

Tour Plan:
The Moscow Metro stations are one of the main sights in the capital city. The Metro stations in the Center are like “underground palaces”. Over 20 types of marble stone from different parts of the former USSR were used to build the Metro Stations. The stations are decorated with statues, reliefs, paintings, mosaics, stained-glass windows and murals by the most famous Russian artists.
